There were many parts of roman clothing. They had the toga , the stola, the palla, and the tunic. Then there was the accesories, sandals, head wraps, belts, and stripes. The toga was worn by both the men and women. They would be plain for the plebians, or the poor and very fancy for the rich man or the particians. The tunic was worn under the other garments and when the toga went out of style it was worn alown. It was a tee shirt that went to the knees and had a belt tied around it at the waist.
